As fans of John know, he’s most known for his portrayal of Jim on The Office, his film in which he starred, A Quiet Place, and also most recently, Jack Ryan. The star will also appear in the sequel to the former, A Quiet Place 2, which he also directed.

According to Deadline, this will mark the first time ever that Mr. Krasinki will host NBC’s SNL. Just one week before, A Quiet Place Part II hits theaters on the 20th of March.

Thus far, the sequel to the 2018 horror hit film is estimated to earn approximately $60 million, and Krasinki will co-star alongside his wife again, Emily Blunt.

The first movie in the franchise earned around $50,2 million in its domestic opening run. As for Dua Lipa, the 2019 Grammy Best New Artist winner, her second studio record, Future Nostalgia, hits stores and streaming services on the 3rd of April.

In recent news, she revealed her first single and accompanying music video, “Physical.” John has certainly come a long way from his humble beginnings on The Office. Bridget Hill reported back in January of this year that John was so busy with his new career that he forget to text back Chris Martin, the Coldplay frontman.

Mr. Martin, during his appearence on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, revealed that he texted John claiming he had a great idea for A Quiet Place – to create a musical for it. He added that the joke of the musical would be that it wouldn’t have any audio or musical effects at all.

Krasinki, who apparently got wind of the Ellen interview, claimed he didn’t actually get an email from the Coldplay frontman. Probably to make Chris feel a little better, Krasinki referred to him as a “global treasure.”
