It’s not called the happiest place on earth without reason; Cinderella’s castle at Orlando’s Disney World served as the backdrop for a romantic proposal on Wednesday, complete with the famous Disney fireworks for a little ambiance. Former Disney star Corbin Bleu from High School Musical proposed to his girlfriend of three years, Sasha Clements, and she said yes.

“I’m very excited to begin this next chapter of my life with the woman who stole my heart,” is what Bleu had to say after popping the question to his longtime love. The big moment occurred only moments before the famous fireworks show Disney displays every evening. The 25-year-old actor placed an engagement ring inside a (so very appropriate) glass slipper to present to his 24-year-old girlfriend.

Clements, a Canadian-born actress, and Bleu met when they were shopping in the same Toronto supermarket back in 2011. They began dating almost immediately and have been together ever since. The actress is a Disney star in her own right, which further makes their engagement story all the more romantic. Clements recently starred in, “How to Build a Better Boy,” a Disney Channel Original movie. Bleu’s most famed role was that of a high school kid in Disney’s High School Musical series, which was one of the most popular of all time. You can see him next when he stars in a movie called “Shaker Heights,” and independent film on which he’s been working for some time.

The newly engaged couple is in Orlando celebrating their engagement, and there is no word yet on whether or not they want to have a long engagement, a big wedding or an elopement. We can assume they’d like to spend a few days to themselves enjoying their new engagement before they start discussing wedding plans and guest lists.
